Our Future: Youth Perspectives on the Environment
Open through Sunday October 31st, 2021
Across the world, youth are rising up in defense of our shared planet. From youth-led organizations like Zero Hour, the U.S. Climate Strike, and the Sunrise Movement, young climate activists are leading marches, rallies, summits, and lobby days. Young leaders are building strong coalitions across sectors, borders, and demographics, demanding that our government, and governments around the world, take action on climate. To celebrate and elevate these youth voices, Brushwood Center has created the “Our Future: Youth Perspectives on the Environment '' exhibition. Featuring young artists in the Chicago region, ages 12 - 22, whose work reflects on climate justice and healing through the power of community.
